We are offering 2 FREE lessons! Walk-ins are allowed!
WHO: open to everyone in the Boston area, including the MIT community
WHEN: June 10th (12-2 pm) and June 13th (7-9 pm)
WHERE: Walker Memorial (MIT campus)
After the first 2 classes, you can continue to learn bhangra throughout the summer for just $15! Starting June 10th, practices will be Sundays (12-2 pm) and Wednesdays (7-9 pm).
The lessons will culminate in a performance on August 12th, 2012 at the Hatch Memorial Shell for IAGB India Day! An additional costume rental fee of $10-$15 will apply to performers.

MIT Summer Bhangra is a years-old tradition, run by MIT Bhangra, that always promises to be a fun experience for bhangra newcomers and veterans alike! It is open to students and others in the MIT Community and Boston area of all skill levels.
It culminates in a live performance for all participants at the IAGB India Day Celebrations at the Hatch Shell on August 12th, 2012. Thousands of people from all over New England come to watch it, and we have been a part of this show for decades running! MIT Summer Bhangra is not only a great way to learn bhangra, but also to meet new people from all over Boston and get a great workout!
Everyone, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, marital status, skin color, level of education, background, past bhangra or other dance experience, is encouraged to join us and be part of this culture and event!
